This space on the first floor used to be a kitchen area. Two dumbwaiters have been removed from this corner of the room.
Two doors can be seen leading into the original main staircase area on the 1st floor. A wall separating the yellow kitchen area and the blue hallway used to stand where brick can be seen between the doors
Cinder blocks are used to seal the old doorway at the northwest end of the 3rd floor. This opening in the ceiling will become a new staircase at the west end of the main corridor.
