  • The original doorways had brick archways to bear the weight of higher floors.
  • New doorway openings are now supported by steel beams.
  • This view facing east on the 5th floor shows the height of the ceiling on this floor. An old doorway that has been sealed can be seen on the right.
  • A cinder block wall now stands where a doorway used on the northwest wall of the 5th floor corridor. The opening in the floor will be the location of the new staircase at the west end of the building.
  • A fine layer of brick dust covers almost every surface in the building.
  • Demolition of the stage in the Multipurpose Room is almost complete. The old band room offices can be seen in the distance.
  • Some minor water damage has caused part of the floor near the stage in the Multipurpose Room to warp.
